Positives :-
- Mohanlal is best in Marakkar’s role and did justice to the character. All the Actors who enacted in this film are perfectly apt for their respective roles.
- Cinematography and Visuals are treat to watch them on Big Screen.
- The songs and Background score are good.
Negatives :-
- Poorly Written Screenplay with Zero connectivity of Characterizations.
- VFX part must have done better.
- Length of the film.
Overall :-
Marakkar is a High Profile film with a whopping budget made on this Periodical Drama. Story-wise everything is good but coming to the screenplay it’s terrible and can’t connect it to the audience even with one character also. Mohanlal and the rest of the Characters are apt for their roles but the director hasn’t made it convincingly which is a huge drawback of this flick.
The songs and Background score are good. Besides, the visuals are a treat to watch. VFX’s work is not so engaging. Should wait and see how the audience receives this film.
Rating :- 2.25/5
